we were recently at sea and noticed that the sea was coated in rock. We then noticed a new island was volcanically forming and so got a lot closer - did we do the right thing?

    Commons sense might just suggest that instead of trying to sail through the island, sail round it instead.
    Also, plant your own flag on it and claim it as an independent country of your own, although it may be an idea to let it cool down a bit before trying to build a house on it.
