did the bomb drop?

A concerned blogger asks

when viewing a website I noticed that they had put a radioactive warning sign over London. Did the bomb get dropped and I didn’t notice?

"kill two birds with one stone"

A caring reader asks

ebay are currently advertising wind turbines on the front page of their website with the tag line of “kill two birds with one stone” but then go onto mention only one benefit - energy generation. What other bird are they suggesting could be killed? Also as a little aside, I notice you can buy a solar powered wind turbine

clever creatures

A listener to radio 4 heard

On a story about the letter bombing of a DNA research institute that “the research lab was working on blood samples taken by farmers not animals”. How would an animal take a blood sample?

Clearly with a hypodermic needle. How else would an animal take a blood sample.

Publicity or News

From a previous submitter

After asking you bunch for advice on what to do with a folder cover I eventually passed it on to a distillery on Islay who are now making a making a mountain out of mole hill. Should I worry or will everyone take it in good humour?

One pearl of wisdom on “Publicity or News”

  1. Consultant G Says:

Don’t worry - be happy. No one will ever notice, and anyone who did will just laugh I would have thought.
The most worrying thing for you is the missing pages if you compare the earlier posting on this topic with the new image. Perhaps it was not such a good idea to put a copy of The Ileach behind the cover when the original pic was taken.
