Well this could be answered in a number of ways.
If this is with reference to the fact that the UK is seen as the centre of the world then this is more to do with the fact that the UK likes to thing of itself as the centre of the world however if you want you can get NZ or Aus projects which correct for this.
If this is with reference to the fact that from any point that you are sitting at you can only see the side you are on then logically this is the same reason as it is a challenge to look at the small of your back without a mirror. To cure this we could put some big mirrors in the sky and then you can see the back (but be warned it may be dark round there and so you still won’t see anything)
To cure this issue can I suggest you buy an inflateable globe and then you can choose what is the back, the front and the side. Afterall you will be as right as the next person
