Victory ?

A political observer asks

Wendy Alexander claims that the vote against banning her from The Scottish Parliament was a ” …a victory for …. common sense” - see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/7596764.stm. Did this consultancy have a hand in this result, and do you agree with wee Wendy ?

One pearl of wisdom on “Victory ?”

  1. Consultant C Says:

We do have a number of high profile contracts, however I am not at liberty to disclose details thereof.

This whole affair was a bit silly. The disiplinary exercise became rather too political; common sense seemed quite lacking during this process.

Did common sense prevail in the final result? Yes. Banning someone from parliament for one day would have no discernable impact.

Bowel timings

A moving problem

I enjoy a generous drink of water before bed; this keeps me hydrated during the night. If I forego this imbibation I can last the night without urinating, though I tend to be a touch dehydrated on waking. I therefore prefer to take said drink.

I have a regular toilet habit: my bowels are vacated once per day, at breakfast time. I occurs to me that if I could evacuate late in the evening there would be more room for expansion of my bladder during the night, thus allowing undisturbed rest.

This theory is all well and good, but how can I overcome my body’s natural tendency towards morning movements?

  1. Consultant G Says:

Where are you nutters all coming from? Common sense is that you empty your bowels or bladder when needed, and do not start dicking about with the natural progress of things. Go with the flow.

A dodo. Well known for its common sense.
