Air bed explodes

Our first enquiry from Germany

I recently tried to mend a hole in my air bed using solvents and unfortunately blew my flat up.  Can you suggest ways I can prevent the same thing from happening again?

    Don’t use air beds and try not to be so silly in the future, there’s a good chap.
