A sensible drinking policy?

A quandrous pedant queries a contradiction

Is it possible to have a sensible drinking policy? Surely drinking is fun, yet not sensible.

  1. Consultant K Says:

Yet again we asked questions which confuse sensible with Common Sense.

For the record, drinking is not always fun and is sometimes actually sensible/medicinal. Low levels of alcohol actually do very little harm and so the occasional half a glass of wine or weak alcohol every few days will do little hard and probably do more good.

Though clearly brewed to create an enjoyable drink remember that originally weak beers were brewed to create drinkable water and weak wines to preserve the grapes.

  2. Consultant G Says:

It is sensible to drink, because if we did not we would die. Drinking alcohol is another matter though.

Provide common sense...

A dodo. Well known for its common sense.
