Why have Nevis Bakery stopped making Cherry Cake taste so nice?  It used to be the best in the world and now it is dry and has hardly any cherries!

    They probably wanted to make more money and increase their profits during the rapid expansion of their supply area so put in cheaper, lower quality ingredients, and perhaps they put in less of the good stuff too.

    F.C. Lonie, the baker in Aberdour does an perfectly acceptable cherry cake at a more reasonable price.
